The 250GB Xbox 360 may be well and truly official, but the hard disk heavy 250GB PS3 is still vapourware. Officially, at least: this latest shot of a shop inventory hints at one on the way, bundled with a bunch of games. Want to know what they are? Read on and find out.
This supposed snap from a Norwegian GameStop shop database shows the 250GB PS3 on record, and bundles with two of the games we heard about previously, Uncharted 2 and Assassin’s Creed 2 (Not Gran Turismo 5 though), along with what would appear to be FIFA 10, Need For Speed: Shift and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time.
A leaked internal email accompanying the shot confirms that the only difference over the current 120GB PS3 Slim is the 250GB hard drive, but, there’s now a pricetag to go with that: the bundles will cost 3799kr (£400). Norway is notorious for high pricing though, so it could come in lower than that in Blighty.
There’s still no release date for these new 250GB PS3 bundles, but they’re looking more legit than ever, and the Tokyo Game Show is this very week, so we’re hoping we’ll hear more very soon.
