The chaps at The Standard have been doing some rummaging, with insiders dropping word that the team behind Apple TV have been working insane amounts of overtime lately.
Coupled with the recent killing off of the 40GB model and the 160GB version’s drop to £219, that could mean we’re looking at a spanking new Apple TV, with up to 1TB of storage being mooted.
Word is both hardware and software bods have been clocking up crazy hours ahead of an apparent launch ahead of “the holidays”. Apple will doubtless want to give the Apple TV a much–needed boost, perhaps with beefed up social networking connections and even games direct from the App Store. Stay tuned for more as we get out.
