The new 250GB Xbox 360 model won’t fix those woes with built in Wi-Fi like certain other consoles, but Microsoft’s doing the next best thing: dropping a new 802.11n standard wireless networking adapter for longer range and faster speeds.
The new Xbox 360 adapater doodah actually got the thumbs up from the FCC in the US last week, but this here picture shows it pictured in a promotional flier inside the Gears of War 2 Game Of The Year edition. The good news here is that if legit, it appears Microsoft will continue to sell the older 802.11a/b/g model alongside it – which would be madness without a price cut?
