The Eee PC 1201n has been known about for some time. But now it’s shown up for sale in Asia, meaning Asus’ promise that it’d be coming in October to a store near you is looking nailed on.
Packing in 2GB of RAM, the Eee PC 1201n isn’t your average netbook. We’re talking a 12–inch screen, Ion graphics, Windows 7 and the same old Intel Atom processor of old.
First Windows 7 netbook spotted
While Asus plots an official release date, expect to see a deluge of new netbooks rocking Windows 7 ahead of the OS’s 22 October launch. Whether they’ll match up to the Eee PC 1201n though, remains to be seen.
