sony-ericssonIt seems Sony Ericsson‘s “music changing” announcement set for 21st September is getting less revolutionary by the day. Just a day after plans for an autoplay headset and new phone were revealed, an inside source has told us that there won’t even be a new blower. Keep reading for all the gossip.

We’ve been speaking to our man in the know, and have it on good authority that the mobile giant’s plans to “change the way you listen to music forever” do not involved a new phone. In fact, we’ll only be getting the already mooted autoplay headset.

While the concept of an autoplay headset seems pretty cool, serving up tunes as soon as you slap on the cans, Sony Ericsson has turned the dial up to 11 on the hype machine. Our insider says not to expect anything major, debunking more outlandish claims that the event would also involve the Android–backed Rachael UI, which remains months away.
