Sony Ericsson loves a dash of hyperbole. But its seems the recent plans to “change music forever” may not prove to be that life altering. See, online chatter says that what will actually be unleashed on 21st September is a new mobile, paired with a headset that starts playing tunes when you put them on.

How this slab of neat new gadgetry works remains to be seen. But it’s not quite what we had in mind for something that was about to change the way we listen to music forever. Something that beats down Spotify would have been more like it.
