Remember the OLED toting Nokia Erdos mobile we spied last week? If you were wondering if that bit of swank on a stick was legit, Espoo’s only gone and pulled the leaked video of it. Way to give the game away, guys. Read on for the full story.
In case you missed it, rumour of a seriously plush new Nokia with an OLED razzle dazzle display, the Nokia Erdos, broke out online last week, with a seriously official looking video accompanying it. We said at the time that the fonts and production made the Nokia Erdos look like the real deal, and it seems we were right: Nokia’s requested the video be removed from YouTube.

The link doesn’t show it now, but the dead page explained why the video was pulled for several hours at least, as this screenshot shows. That suggests that either the Nokia Erdos is real, and readying for launch, or the Finns have at least been working on something like this. Apple’s been known to get hoity toity about prototype iPhones popping up on the ‘Tube, so we’re betting that the Nokia Erdos is in some stage on the pipeline at least.
