The Medion Touch all in one proddable PC has just been unveiled in the UK, promising all the multimedia support you could want in one slab. We’ve just had a hands-on with the machine so read for the shots!
The Medion Touch may well turn out to be the most expensive machine the German computer cobbler more used to making budget laptops has ever turned out (It estimates it’ll come in between £1,500-1,750), but it’s also its most beautiful and brawny too.
Inside the all in one shell, the Medion Touch packs a quad core processor, a full terabyte of storage space and Blu-ray, and the 1080p screen is multitouch, so you can pinch and zoom to your heart’s content.
We’re pretty taken with the Medion Touch’s exterior too: that polished black is easy on the eye, and the Sideshow screen nestling between two Dolby certified speakers and a subwoofer is a helpful way to prod apps to life, especially if you opt to wall mount the 24-inch Medion Touch.
How does it handle? Very well: we’re not sold on some of the Windows 7 touch gimmicks like Pong, but scrolling through the globe in 3D using just our digits was nothing short of awe inspiring. The handy addition of HDMI in as well as out on the Medion Touch too means you can hook your console straight up to it for your fragging fix.
The Medion Touch lands in November shortly after the launch of Windows 7, but take a peep up close first here in our hands-on gallery!
