picoStickSay hello to the picoStick. We’d be happy enough to pay for this coin sized USB key even if it just had a bit of flash memory on board, but it’s much smarter than that: it fits an entire TV tuner into its little case, so you can get your Freeview on the go without weighing down your hand luggage.

Measuring just 12 x 35mm, the picoStick is a fully fledged Freeview TV tuner for your desktop PC or laptop, with all the regular features thrown in, like an EPG, live pause and scheduled recording.

It’s not going to stream Freeview recordings to an iPhone like Elgato will let you, but this is the first TV tuner we’ve seen for a PC that’ll happily be carried around in our wallet.

The picoStick’s creator PCTV Systems says the little critter ships from next week, but you can find it up for pre-order on Amazon and Play.com already, and for a significant discount on the RRP too.

Out September | £59.99 | PCTV Systems
