Contrary to some reports online, the Palm Pre will not be going on sale in the UK tomorrow, we’ve confirmed with Palm UK. The Palm Pre will be on show at an event for journalists in London tomorrow though, and we’ll be on hand to have a go.

If not this week, when will the Palm Pre launch then? Palm’s official line is still that it’ll be in time for Crimbo, but the Telegraph’s sources close to Palm and exclusive network O2 say it’s still on track for a 30 October release.
