It’s only two weeks since we tore our PS3 Slim from its box and got in a tizzy about the all new console. But Sony has already got plans for another model, with one UK retailer claiming a 250GB PS3 Slim “is a definite for October.” Read on for all the details.
Speaking to the chaps at Eurogamer, an anonymous inside source said Sony is planning on unleashing details of a string of new 250GB PS3 Slim bundles at the end of September. A release date will follow in October.
Word is that the 250GB PS3 Slim will be touted at the Tokyo Games Show. Rumours last week suggested that the hub would cost £299 including one of Assassin’s Creed II, Gran Turismo 5 or Uncharted 2.
It does seem rather soon for Sony to be planning a new PS3 Slim. But then it’ll want to maintain top spot and continue to beat down the cut price Xbox 360.
