good to see an upgrade in capacity to 64 gigs but i want to see a camera on the next touch plus speaking instructions like the nano Steve Hewett UK

The 32 and 64GB iPod touch will speak to you, in fact, you can speak to it! It includes Voice Control features, just like the iPhone 3G S, so you can tell it to “play more music like this” or ask it what’s playing. It’s very responsive, and pretty hard to fool.
