What, Motorola DEXT not stoking your Android fire this Friday morning? Then how about news that INQ is plotting its very own Google–packing blower that it hopes will take it beyond the cells its currently touting. Speaking at a US industry bash, Frank Meehan, INQ’s CEO, couldn’t have been clearer about what his band of social networking nuts are working on next.
“We are moving into Android and are bringing out Android phones,” he said, before promising that his team were going to do “some pretty cool things” with Android.

Hopefully that means a sexy take on the basic Android OS, which looks a tad tired compared to the likes of HTC Sense and the killer new Motorola Blur.
As for a release, Meehan was less gushing. At the moment, there’s no date, but expect to be clamping your hands on an INQ Android phone on 2010 for sure.
