Although the new iPod nano’s not got a storage boost, you’ll notice the extra differences when it comes to powering it on and loading it up with tunes. The new Coverflow look and Genius Mixes integration are eye popping, as are the iPod nano case colours, deeper than last year’s rainbow range but no less covetable.

It’s the video camera that’s got us in awe though: one touch VGA recording just put your chubby Flip camcorder out of a job, especially with all the shooting options (everything from Thermal style view to Dalek exterminate mode – OK, X-ray).
