It seems the Spotify iPhone app is already the raging success everyone thought it would be. Just 48 hours after it landed on the App Store, it’s squeezed out Super Hard Puzzle and What’s Your IQ to go to number one.

While Spotify refused to dole out official figures, a spokesman has told us that, “there’s definitely been significant uptake in the first 24 hours.” That certainly seems to be the case as iPhone users get all het up about not having to dive into the iTunes store and pay for new tracks.
With the Spotify Android app also doing the rounds and a Spotify S60 app already in the works, we’re witnessing a revolution in how we consume our tunes.
