Mere hours until the Apple iPod event and those Beatles on iTunes rumours are back once again, with none other than Yoko Ono saying that her hubby’s tunes will be landing on the world’s biggest download store. But are they really? Read on for the full skinny.
Yoko has come out and told anyone who’ll listen that The Beatles will be making an appearance on iTunes from today. It would certainly make sense, what with The Beatles: Rock Band out today and the band’s remastered catalogue also in the shops.
However, EMI has shot back saying there are no plans to slap The Beatles onto iTunes today. Paul McCartney has previously said that any issues with Apple are to do with his former record label and not the band themselves.

It wouldn’t be surprise to see Paul, Ringo, Yoko and Dhani Harrison to make an appearance at this afternoon’s Apple shindig, much like they did for the launch of The Beatles: Rock Band back in June.
