TomTom’s top of the line GO LIVE range just got a big refresh: presenting the new TomTom GO x50 LIVE line, with new net connected services to help you floor it the fastest way possible. Read on to find out when they hit the road, and what’s new.
We were wowed by the TomTom Go LIVE series satnavs unveiled late last year, but that awe was caused as much by the price as the realtime traffic info TomTom slung their way. Don’t expect any of the new TomTom GO x50 LIVE models to be any cheaper, but what you will be getting is a new look digital dash that tells you everything you need to know instantly: the new LIVE snapshot feature on all three shows HD traffic data, fuel prices and speed camera alerts all in one go, so you won’t have to take your eyes off the road for too long.

Top of the TomTom GO x50 LIVE is the TomTom GO 950 LIVE, stuffed full of North America and European maps (Now including Greece, Malta and Turkey) and dead reckoning tech to chart your location, even in tunnels. Then there’s the TomTom GO 750 and 550, the former with continent wide mapping and the latter with UK A-Z only.
All three also pack a new a Eco Routes option to keep fuel consumption low and money in your wallet, not in the tank. Al three in the TomTom GO x50 LIVE line are out this Autumn for price TBC, but the regular LIVE monthly subscription will still apply. Boo.
