Techie BreakieIt may be nearing the end of the working week for most, but for gadget fans, it’s only just starting: IFA is well and truly underway, and we’re on the show floor catching it all as it breaks. Read on for what’s happened so far!

First up, Toshiba took the stage to show off its new wares, and there was a truckload: as well as its U-turn of a Blu-ray player being made official, it outlined new TVs, new laptops, and its future media plan. Oh, and it dropped a little something called the JournE Touch, a proddable media slate that might have just beaten Apple to the punch.

In mobile, we caught some more goodies from Nokia World, including a hands-on with the beautiful X6, and even a Nokia Booklet 3G unboxing, as well as an up close poke with T-Mobile’s next Android phone, the Pulse.

Elsewhere in computing Samsung outed its own thin and light range, and speaking of ultra skinny machines, the MSI X-Slim X600 got priced and dated for the UK.

Finally in gaming, OnLive is beginning a public beta, and we got hands-on with Beaterator. Read on to view the verdict on this melody maker for the PSP
