Remember the Samsung M1 mystery PMP we spied? It’s official, and it’s coming to the UK, packing an OLED screen and NVIDIA Tegra graphical power to put your iPod to shame. Read on for what to expect.
We predicted the Samsung M1 would have a wildcard up its sleeves, and sure enough it does: a 3.3-inch AMOLED screen to make video as vivid as it is on the Samsung Jet. It’s also DivX certified to help with that there video playback, and it’s sporting the Tegra setup powering the Zune HD, so you can play back video in 720p on the big screen.
The Zune HD’s not headed over here any time soon, but the Samsung M1 is: it’s out at the end of the month in 8 or 16 gig flavours, and we’re closing in on the price right now.
In other Sammy PMP news, we just scooped the pricing for the ridiculous R1 Beat DJ PMP too, and it’s not nearly as pretty: the 8GB digital turntable will cost £129.99, and the 16GB £149.99 when they go on sale later this month.
Out September 2009 | £TBC | Samsung
