It’s been a busy IFA for Samsung. But while the Android–packing Glaxy steal the smartphone stage, its eco–friendly hippy phone, has ado made its official debut. The solar–powered cell looks the part. But will it save the planet? Take a look at our hands–on pics and see.
Grab the Samsung Blue Earth and you’ll notice straight away this is no ordinary blower. For starters there’s a solar panel slapped on the back, so you can charge while you’re nattering in sunlight.
Fire it up and you’ll also see the UI telling you how many trees you’ve saved (it told us we’d saved none, sorry) and even how much CO2 you’ve saved by leaving the car at home, via the eco walk mode.
