Toshiba’s new flagship laptop, the Toshiba Satellite P500, just broke free from the bounds of secrecy at IFA. It’s a multimedia powerhouse, and one Toshiba reckons will keep your eyes and ears satisfied, no matter how high your standards.
We’re talking Blu-ray inside, hardware upscaling for DVDs and a whopping 18 inch widescreen. There’s even a multitouch trackpad inside.
But Toshiba hasn’t stopped there. The Toshiba Satellite P500 also packs in a multi TV tuner, lapping up analogue and digital signals alike.
As with Toshiba’s other Satellite laptops there’re speakers by Harmon Kardon, as well as a new feathertouch control bar with eight shortcut keys within easy reach. Dual hard drive support means you can cram a hangar-like 1TB of storage inside too, alongside 8GB of memory.
The Toshiba Satellite P500 certainly looks fully specced, but from the first glimpse we’ve been given it looks a little bulky. Stay tuned, and we’ll bring you a first look as soon as Toshiba lets our sticky mitts have a play.
