Stories are falling out left, right and centre at IFA right now, but the big news today is the T-Mobile Pulse, Huawei’s Android phone that stuffs in all the smartphone specs you could need on the cheap, and we’ve just got hands-on with it. Read on to fill your peepers with pics!
In case you missed it, the T-Mobile Pulse packs in HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and all the regular bells and whistles on a smartphone, but it’ll only set you back £180 on pay as you gab.
T-Mobile Pulse: PAYG Android debuts
We’ve had a play with the T-Mobile Pulse and we’re suitably impressed. Although the custom multiple profile overlay is good, it’s not as fluid as the HTC Hero’s Sense UI, but it certainly makes the HTC Magic completely redundant. The screen looks gorgeous and the shell feels eerily similar to HTC’s second Google phone, so we’d have no qualms recommending the T-Mobile Pulse over it.
That said, after almost a year, the Android action is heating up at long last, with rivals like Samsung dropping in with their own droids, so keep an eye on the competition before setting down for a T-Mobile Pulse when it launches next month. Have a gander on this Google phone close up right here while you decide.
