Nokia had a sauna full of Finnish phones to show off at Nokia World yesterday, but the one that stole the show for us was the Nokia X6, its flagship music mobile in the new X series. We caught all the official photos of it yesterday, but if that wasn’t enough for you, it’s now been caught up close in the wild too. Read on to peep it in action!
Until now, the 5800 XpressMusic has been the prime song cellphone from Nokia, but the new Nokia X6 makes it seem, well, dated. The folks over at NokNok got to grips with a Nokia X6 in the flesh and it’s every bit as beautiful as the press pics promised, helped in no small part by the knowledge that there’s HSDPA, Wi-Fi and 32GB of storage shoved in there too.
Nokia X6: all the official photos
Best of all though, the Nokia X6 finally brings what we’ve been dreaming of to Espoo: a capacitive touchscreen. No stabbing around with resistive rubbish any more, just glorious swiping and prodding like the iPhone, HTC Hero and Palm Pre.
