Nokia Booklet 3G unboxed!

Nokia hasn’t forgetten the Nokia Booklet 3G in amongst all the carnage of X series phones and N97 Minis: its first foray in to the lil’ laptop market’s on display at Nokia World too. In its packaging. The poor Nokia Booklet 3G never saw it coming, so read on for the unboxing!

IFA is kicking off big time today, but Nokia World is still going on too in the land of beer cellars and sausage, and the Nokia Booklet 3G is one of the stars of the show. We said it looked like a MacBook Nano more than any other netbook when it was first announced, and seeing it coming out of its carton in the flesh, we’ve not changed our minds.

Nokia Booklet 3G: all the official photos

The moment you spy that sky blue box, you can see what Nokia means about the Nokia Booklet 3G being a premium product. But unlike the Sony VAIO W or Asus S101, say, it feels it too, thanks to a solid build and classy screen capable of 720p viddy, even if we are still talking 1.6GHz Atom processors and solitary gigs of RAM.

The Nokia Booklet 3G’s been given a tentative €575 pricetag for when it drops later this year, but given all the connectivity stuffed inside (hot swappable 3G SIM card, helloooo), you can expect some sort of subsidy in exchange for a monthly pay out to any network that bags it. Whet your appetite while we await the full pricing details with the first Nokia Booklet 3G unboxing photos right here!
