Sony’s not done with its IFA announcements just yet. The tech titan has just unveiled two spanking new Blu–ray players, the BDP-S560 and BDP–S760. And both come packing Wi–Fi as well as a slew of natty extras.
Sony reckons Wi–Fi on your Blu-ray player is the way forward. And if it works for the PS3, then why not? Both the BDP-S560 and the BDP-S760 rock wireless web, so you can easily update the firmware and snag extra content via BD–Live.
On top of that, you’ll find the BDP-S360 and BDP-S760 toting a QuickStart mode, firing them up in just six seconds. And there’s a PS3–alike XMB for when you’re mooching about the menus.
Sony’s Precision Cinema HD will also see to your standard DVDs, claiming to upscale content to 1080p on the BDP-S360 and BDP-S760.
Stay tuned for more IFA news as it happens.
