Lunchtime Lowdown: Nokia overload

Categories: Gadgets News   Tags: , , ,

Lunchtime LowdownIt’s a big week in tech. As well as IFA kicking off, Nokia World 09 is going on right now, and we’ve got all the latest from the first morning right here in the lunchtime lowdown. Read on for the catch up.

First up, Nokia made official what we all knew about already: the Nokia N97 Mini. As expected, it’s a slimmed down version of the smartphone with 8GB of storage, but Espoo is aiming to make it free on contract!

Next up though, we got blind sided by the launch of Nokia’s new X series: first there was the X3 S40 phone, then the stunning X6 touchscreen smartie, and we scoped out all the official photos to show you what the fuss is about.

Elsewhere in mobiles, the HTC Hero could be losing the chin, while it’s got a new Windows Mobile brother, the HTC Touch2. Check it out.

Finally, we’ve got word of when BioShock 2 arrives, so whip out your calendar.
