pal-sprint-webosPalm has not long launched the Palm Pre, running its new webOS operating system. Could a spy shot claiming to be of  US carrier Sprint’s inventory system show two new Palm webOS devices are on the cards?

Even before the Palm Pre dropped, we heard rumours of follow-up webOS handsets – including a possible replacement for the Palm Centro. This was – according to the rumour – due to launch immediately after the Palm Pre and be a Sprint exclusive in the US.

Well, we still don’t know any concrete details, but a spy shot leaked to Pre Central appears to show not one, but two new webOS devices on the company’s books.

The Palm 120 and Palm C40 are just code-names of course, but the inventory also contains the Palm 100 – internal code for the Palm Pre, so we can rule that out as being one of the two phones. Both are listed with the peppercorn pricetag of $1 which (unless Sprint have gone insane) we can assume is just a placeholder, pending some proper release dates and pricing.

One of these could be the Centro replacement, could the other be the Palm EOS – said to be an ultra thin handset not unlike the Treo. Stay tuned for more as we get it.
