ifa-logoToshiba Blu-ray
Toshiba has already feasted on humble pie this summer, joining the Blu–ray disc association and admitting to plans for a Toshiba Blu–ray player this year. IFA will doubtless see it make its debut, doubtless with a price to make competitors sweat.

Bargain touchscreen Sony Walkman
The S540 Walkman has already been unleashed. But no way will Sony rock up to IFA minus a new Walkman to tout. A pared down X–series model, with touchscreen capabilities and web access would put it ahead of the new iPod nano, not due to drop until next week.

Next-gen Cell TV from Toshiba
The Toshiba Cell TV was the star of CES. With 4K powers and the ability to snaffle up six HD video streams, it’s set to be a monster. IFA should see more details on the Cell TV outed, with a release date and a (colossal) price tag also expected after Tosh said it would land in stores in 2009.

OLED at acceptable prices
LG’s already said it’ll be bringing a 40–inch OLED to IFA. But the Korean’s 15–inch edition is due for release soon and it could slap down the Sony XEL–1 by undercutting it in the price department. Anything around the £1,500 mark could finally see OLED go mainstream.

Logitech Squeezebox Touch
As certain as high sales of brockwurst and strong lager at IFA, the Logitech Squeezebox Touch is a definite for Berlin. Leaked over the weekend, this new streaming beast will pack a 4.3-inch touchscreen, SD support and even a light sensor. Expect the full details the minute the doors are opened.
