Apple has gone all official with its plans for a 9 September event. But what exactly will it be touting when Steve Jobs takes to the floor? A new iPod touch? A 32GB iPod nano? And what about that Apple Tablet? The Electricpig Forum is abuzz with all sorts of ideas.
Ascismoke is laying it on the line, saying he’s, “…betting on a the tablet/netbook device.” But others aren’t so sure. Electricpig’s own Ben Sillis says this will be a quiet event compared to recent shindigs. “There’s not so much they can do with the current designs, and everyone wants to know about the tablet.”
But what about the new iPod range. Will they be getting cameras? And how about more storage space? rfer1975 is certainly hoping so. He wants to see an, “iPod Nano with a larger capacity such as 32GB so I can put all my music collection on a small, light iPod.” That shouldn’t be too big an ask with a 64GB iPod touch on the cards.
It’s not enough for Bongo though. “So no apple tablet then? Sucks,” he says, before saying he’s not sure if he’d really pay for a new iPod with a camera or more capacity.
