Like any DSLR worth its salt, the Canon EOS 7D has been leaked by tittle tattlers on Chinese forums before being made official, and it’s looking to cause quite a cleberation among serious shutterbugs.
Along with the pic, specs for the Canon EOS 7D have come out of the closet too: there’s an 18 megapixel sensor, fast 8fps shooting in ISO 100-6400, and you can ramp it all the way up to 12800 if you need. On the back of the Canon EOS 7D there’s a 3-inch LCD, and the whole thing doubles up as a HD camcorder, like the Canon Eos 5D Mark II.

Ah yes, the Canon Eos 5D Mark II. If we’re not mistaken, it’s getting very close to a year since the launch of the updated DSLR demi-god. Canon’s just refreshed its point and shoot line: is the Canon EOS 7D’s launch just around the corner? Tech companies dig that symmetry, see, so don’t be too surprised.
