MSI Wind Top AE2010UPDATE: We’ve confirmed the MSI Wind Top AE2010 is coming to the UK with the launch of Windows 7, but price is still TBC.

MSI looks to be gearing up for a spate of new launches right now, and here’s another to go on the list: the MSI Wind Top AE2010. Nabbing the all-in-one styling of its older brothers, it bungs in a powerful bunch of specs that make it more iMac than Eee Top. Read on for the deets.

As well as the new MSI X-Slim and a reported touchscreen netbook, MSI’s been working on its nettop line, but it wouldn’t be fair to call the result – the MSI Wind Top AE2010 – one. With 4GB of RAM, a dual core AMD chip, a 320GB HDD, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics and a 1600×900 20-inch screen, it’s just an out and out desktop all-in-one.

Compared to the plastic white finish on the Eee Top we’re loving the MSI Wind Top AE2010′s glass look. While it’s missing the touchscreen skills, at a starting price of $649.99 (£400) it’s one nice Apple rival for anyone with an aversion to OS X and Cupertino’s large margins – just be sure to cash in with the Windows 7 voucher it comes with and skip out on Vista. We’re chasing UK details on the MSI Wind Top AE2010 right now, so we’ll keep you updated.
