We’ve finally managed to get our mitts on an LG Watch Phone, and very nice it is too. The big question on the lips of the Electricpig forum, though, is would you actually use one in a public place?
On the face of it, a watch phone just sounds super cool. Or at least it did before the days when the regular mobile phone replaced the wristwatch as the timekeeper of choice.
Sticking a phone in a watch now just seems like a retro step and then there’s the matter of making calls.
With a Bluetooth headset is one thing, but how about making video calls looking directly at it? Was Dick Tracey a trendsetter or would you just look stupid?
