Sony has promised that its new Pocket and Touch eBook Readers will be with us soon, but it’s also let slip that the 3G enabled Daily could also find its way to our shores sometime in the near future. So, now we know Sony is “looking to bring in a 3G product” to the UK, and that it’s “under discussion”. That means a device like the Sony Reader Daily or Amazon Kindle, with online access built in to pick up the latest paperbacks and even newspaper subscriptions.
Are you happy with just the regular readers or is this the feature that makes eBooks better than dead-tree versions?
Amazon has also stayed Stateside with its Kindle for now. If the Reader Daily got here first would you snap it up or are you hanging out for Amazon’s virtual bookshelf instead?
