Samsung’s Android powered Galaxy is still meandering slowly towards the UK, but already we’ve caught wind of a second mystery Android Samsung phone, called the InstinctQ. According to reports, this one will also be heading to O2. Read on for the full details.
If the Galaxy’s touchscreen-only interface isn’t lighting your fires and you prefer buttons to screen poking, then the Samsung InstinctQ has you covered. While there is a touchscreen onboard, a full QWERTY keypad lies underneath. It packs an optical navigation pad on the front instead of a flimsy trackball.
Unfortunately, other specs are thin on the ground. We’d especially like to know if this beauty is packing an AMOLED screen, for example. However, one thing we do know is that it’s highly likely to reach the UK, with one Samsung spokesperson revealing that the phone maker has been working with O2, and that “the device will be available for purchase shortly”.
The questions of ‘when’ and ‘how much’ are still being worked on, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear more.
