Nokia’s just dropped a bombshell: the Nokia Booklet 3G. We’ve heard rumours about a Nokia netbook since kingdom come, but now it’s official, and just around the corner. Read on to find out what to expect.
As we thought after the Intel hook-up, the Nokia Booklet 3G will be a Windows machine powered by an Atom processor, but Nokia’s bolted on a beefy battery to last up to 12 hours, and stuffed it all inside a swish aluminium chassis.
There’s Wi-Fi and a 10.1-inch screen, but the Nokia Booklet 3G ups the ante compared to most netooks as it comes with HDMI too to hook it up to a telly. And as you may have guessed by the name, the Nokia Booklet 3G does mobile broadband.
The Nokia Booklet 3G is expected to debut in the flesh at Nokia World from 2 September, but stay tuned for the first official photos incoming!
