The LG Watch Phone was the star of CES in January, and we bet you’ve been itching to get your wrists on it ever since. Well the wait is over, and if you’re quick, you can pick one up for bargain, one-time-only price. Where, when and how much? Read on for all the info.
Orange is the lucky phone network to have bagged the LG Watch Phone (or LG-GD910 if you prefer code names). It’s already launched across the channel and it’s going on sale next week in the UK next week.
If you’re prepared to show up at Orange’s London store at Bond Street Station, you can pick up shiny new LG Watch Phone for a mere 500 bones. Okay, that might sound like a lot for a phone, even one built into a watch, but this is no half-baked phone either.
Inside you’ll find an MP3 player, VGA camera and 7.2Mb/s HSDPA connectivity. The 1.43-inch display is fully touchscreen and the whole thing is just 14mm thick.
The special £500 promo price is rather decent deal too, especially when you consider we used to think the LG Watch Phone would come in at a eye-watering £1,000 each. In France, they’ll cost you around £770 on contract. Orange hasn’t revealed how much they’ll cost on contract in the UK yet.
Orange’s special LG Watch Phone promo deal kicks off next Thursday and will be available first-come-first-serve, one per customer and only if you turn up at the store. Sleeping bags may be necessary. You can also register your interest on Orange’s website, which may improve the chances of the shop having enough stock ready and staff laying on some hot drinks for the late-night campers.
Out August 27 | From £500 | Orange
