The point is Archos introduces 800×480 and 720p Android applications SDK guidelines and SDK settings. It’s basically a way to tweak the Google Android SDK to make it a standard for Android developers to develop for 3-10 times larger resolution screens than any other Android device on the market. It provides guidelines as well for all other new innovations that Archos is introducing to the Android world like HD video codecs, advanced hardware based 3D acceleration (think of an Android application that is an N64 emulator), huge storage space and many more things like that.
