Fancy catching all the latest movies on to your Nokia? Now you can. The Vid Store, a new film streaming phone app, has just gone on sale in the Ovi Store. Keep reading to find out what’s what and who can get in on it.
Head on over to the Ovi Store right now and you’ll find a great new program called The Vid Store nestled in between all the ringtones and saucy wallpapers. Install it and you’ll be able to rent and download movies on your mobile, with payment either by credit card or PayPal.
The Vid Store, from developer Saffron Digital, isn’t stocked too shabbily either, with films from major studio Paramount, including recent hits like Eagle Eye and Oscar scooping No Country For Old Men, and more movie makers in talks to sling their works on to your small screen.
Currently, The Vid Store is only available for the Nokia N97, Nokia 5800 and 5530 XpressMusic models, but it’s very early days, so wider support could be on the way. The app itself is free, so what are you waiting for? Get downloading.
