Design is everything. And the Samsung N310 is top of the pile when it comes to netbooks. Its premium looks, courtesy of award–winning designer Naoto Fukasawa, not only put it head and shoulders above the rest. That outer shell makes it tougher too.

Power
The Samsung N310 gets the most out of its Intel Atom processor thanks to Samsung Easy SpeedUp Manager. Power up the CPU and get it playing nice with juice–hungry apps like video. It’s like a full–on laptop with cuter looks.

Screen size
The Samsung N310 may appear to have the same 10.1–inch screen as every other netbook. But it’s the first to be frameless and can be easily switched to widescreen 1024×728 pixels by using Samsung Easy Resolution Manager.

Keyboard design
The isolated keys on the Samsung N310 set it apart form the usual pads on netbooks, which make typing on a Fisher Price laptop seem easy. And at 93 per cent size, it’s no harder than tapping out tales on a full–size lappie.

Built–in 3G
Some models of the Samsung N310 come with 3G built right in. That means you’ll always have the web with you, hopping on mobile networks to stay up–to–date with the latest news and fart about Facebook.

Quirky extras
The anti–bacterial keyboard might appear a gimmick. But in fact it keeps you away from nasty germs which can live and grow on your netbook. The Samsung N310 could save you a nasty bout of illness!

Battery–saving features
Samsung Easy Battery Manager means you can customise the battery to slow or speed up the CPU. Max Battery Life will give you hours for basic apps, while Max Performance we’ll squeeze the best out of the N310.

Special features
The excellent CyberLink YouCam means you can not only chat with pals using VoIP for free. It also lets you play and create neat pics, perfect for social networking.  The N310 batters its rivals here.

Easy–to–use
Using Samsung SpeedUp Manager or Samsung Magic Doctor might sound daunting, but both give you added control over your N310 and make it stand out from the very crowded pack.

Special freebies
With Microsoft Skydrive offering 25GB online back up for free and a gratis trial of MS Office, you’re off to a flier with the N310, unlike some of its rival machines.

The Samsung N310 is far from the most superiour netbook around. All of the most recent Asus “EeePC” line have all of the features listed, for far less, with a much better battery. Even Samsungs own NC10 walks all over the N310, this is just shameless advertising and only promoteing a relatively poor netbook without comparing it to others.
