Apple’s iPod partay is going down at some point during the beginning of September and while the new, camera-encrusted iPod nano and iPod touches have already been leaked like a ripped sieve, it’s not clear whether the Apple tablet will be Cupertino’s “one last thing”. But now another source has chimed in to douse water on the flames of rumour: not until next year, guys.
We heard last week that the iPod funfest would be kicking off some time in the week of September 7 and an inside source has confirmed that to Digital Daily, claiming the jamboree will take place on Wednesday September 9. Here’s the kicker though: they also insisted that there’d be no mention of the Apple tablet.
Apple tablet spotted on video?
If true, it looks like the sources claiming an early 2010 release for the Apple tablet are on the money, but Apple isn’t planning to pre-announce it as it did the original iPhone.
Don’t get too down though: there are still plenty of questions to be answered at the iPod event. What happens to the iPod Classic? Just what will be “social” about iTunes 9? And will Steve Jobs be there? All will be revealed in T-minus 3 weeks.

I’m not a techie human being, but I’m so looking forward to joining this event. I’m curious what the next gadgets would be like. It’s nice to be ahead.
