MSI is making good use of the time Asus has spent dithering, deciding whether to push on with its Eee PC Touch range or not. It’s cracking on with touchscreen netbooks of its very own! Read on to find out when you’ll be able to blag a proddable MSI Wind.
The tech tittle tattlers over at the DigiTimes have it that MSI is prepping new netbooks based on Intel’s Pine Trail-M platform for December this year, and best of all, they’ll be packing touchscreens, so you can poke your way around the web instead of reaching down for the tiny trackpad and clacky mouse buttons.
The new MSI netbooks weren’t named as Wind netbooks but you’d have to expect them to follow in naming suit, and they will run Windows 7. This ought to get the Eee PC T91 quaking in its little frame: we loved the touchscreen, folding netbook/tablet but it was underpowered. MSI, if you’re listening, can we have some 10 and 12-inchers please?
