Hold onto your aging iPod. Apple looks like it’s having a party on 7 September, and you’re all invited to join in the annual fun of trying to work out just what Steve Jobs will unveil. The web has gone crazy overnight with talk from music moguls suggesting Apple is all set to come clean and make a date for the event, possibly for that lovely Apple tablet. Read on and we’ll fu=ill you up with all the details.
The much–rumoured September Apple event is edging closer to reality. Music industry insiders claim that the bash will kick off during “the week of September 7.” How do they know? Well music being integral to the iPod, it appears at least some of the major labels will be taking a bow in Cupertino.
That should mean we’ll be dosed up with details, not only on the multitouch iPod nano, but also plans for Apple Cocktail and perhaps, whisper it, the Apple tablet.
The rumour mill has pegged a string of announcements onto this 7 September event, with Blu–ray for iMac, iTunes 9 and new iPods all taking centre stage. But surely iProd, the Apple tablet, is what we all want to see.
