Sony Ericsson JalouSony Ericsson has unveiled its latest fashion phone, a dinky clamshell called Jalou. And to if you had any doubts over its catwalk credentials, there’s even a limited edition Dolce&Gabbana edition on the way too.

When folded the Sony Ericsson Jalou is just 73mm long – “shorter than your favourite lipstick” in Sony Ericsson’s words. It sports a crystalline, angular form which will apparently be “in” in 2010, and comes in a trio of colours: Deep Amethyst, Aquamarine Blue and Onyx Black.

On the feature front there’s a 2-inch screen which can be transformed into a mirror at the touch of a button, plus 3G, a 3.2MP camera, music player, FM radio, Bluetooth and a web browser. There’s also a new Walk Mate step counter and an exclusive interface which automatically updates you with special event information.

The Sony Ericsson Jalou by Dolce&Gabbana is a limited edition version of the regular phone with a rose finish and 24 carat gold plating. It also comes with a gold-accented D&G headset and three satin bags for the phone, charger or jewellery, plus exclusive D&G content like photos, video clips and a blog.
