vertuNokia’s uber-swanky luxury wing has another bank account-obliterating handset in its line-up. Dubbed the Vertu Ascent Ti Neon, it’s apparently designed with well-to-do women in mind.

The Ascent Ti Neon is a mite more svelte than the regular Ascent Ti, and comes with rubber on the back instead of leather. This rubber backing comes in four colour choices – green, orange, white and pink – and the on-screen menu matches whichever one you pick.

According to the folks at T3, who scored some exclusive face time with the new blower, specifications are the same the regular Ascent Ti (or the Ferrari-inspired variant): you get 3G and quad band, plus 4GB of built-in memory, Bluetooth and a 3MP camera

And get this: there’s also full backup of the phone’s contents via Vertu Fortress – that means all your data is automatically synced to a server stored in an underground bunker. So if the earth is ravaged by nuclear Armageddon, at least your contacts book will remain intact.

Out October | £6,000 | Vertu (via T3)
