Some of you crazy Xbox 360 addicts will already be fooling around with the new Xbox update. But for those who didn’t get it on with the exclusive test, some good news. The complete new Xbox update goes live tomorrow, 11 August. Read on to find out how you can get it.
The latest Xbox update comes chock full of goodies. As we reported last week, Games on Demand is here. That means you can now nab full Xbox 360 games using MS points, including Call of Duty 2, Perfect Dark Zero and, our favourite, Rainbow Six Vegas.
On top of that you’ll find a new Avatar Marketplace, improved user ratings with veteran stamps for the most hardcore types and Xbox Live Parties. That means you can invite seven pals to sit down and enjoy a flick with you. Of course, no chucking popcorn and hurling abuse, or you’ll be thrown out. It won’t wash down the local Odeon and it won’t wash here.
Gamers given sneak peek of new Xbox update
The new Xbox update is mandatory, so when you crank up your 360 tomorrow, you’ll be asked to give it a tickle before cracking on with the important business of kissing goodbye to your evening in a haze of automatic weapons and too fast cars.
The full–on Facebook, Last.fm and Twitter update is due in the autumn, although Microsoft has already said it’ll milk such massive changes by introducing each new feature one a time.
