Germany will soon be getting a faceful of Wind – the new MSI Wind U200, to be exact. This 12-inch laptop boasts Intel’s new CULV (Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage) platform, giving it netbook-style battery life but better performance and a larger screen.
The MSI Wind U200 comes with a 1366 x 768 resolution display, plus a 320GB hard disk, 4GB of memory and all the other features you’d expect from a decent laptop: Wi-Fi, webcam, three USBs and a card reader. It also has HDMI and VGA outputs for hooking it up to monitors and TVs. Windows Vista Home Premium comes supplied.
German online store Notebook.de is listing the MSI Wind U200 as “deliverable in 3-4 weeks” with a €629 (£540) price tag.
