Our US cousins are soon to be blessed with a string of Microsoft stores. But while we all know what to expect when we stroll into an Apple store, weeping gently at the prices, what will the Microsoft store look like? Well, the Big M has just shown off its new logo. Read on to find out where and when you’ll be seeing it.
For now, Microsoft stores are just a US enterprise. But that will doubtless change very soon, and when it does, you’ll be seeing this bright new logo on your local high street.
It’s clearly a Microsoft–style logo, drawing on the classic Windows one which we all know and sometimes love. It’ll go head to head with the classic Apple logo when the first US Microsoft stores open soon. Some are in the same malls as Cupertino’s retail emporia , which could lead to running battles between fanboys. Maybe.
