Straighten your tie and start “thinking outside the box”, because it seems Nokia has not one but two business-centric smartphones prepped for launch in August: the Nokia E52 and Nokia E55.
According to a story over at NokNok.tv, online store MobileFun has slipped both handsets into its August release pages. A commenter under the story also claims that his or her store may have stock of the Nokia E55 on 18th August and the Nokia E52 on 28th August.
The Nokia E52 is an updated E51, boasting a better battery than its predecessor (eight hours talk time!), plus S60 3rd Edition, A-GPS, HSDPA and HSUPA and a 3.2-megapixel camera. As it’s an Eseries phone it’s also got business features like Nokia Messaging and Mail for Exchange – perfect for keeping in touch with the office when you’re out and about.
The Nokia E55 was first announced back at Mobile World Congress in February. It sports a similar feature line-up to the E52, but also a BlackBerry-style two letter per key numberpad for speedy emailing and texting.
