LG BL40LG officially announced the latest addition to its Chocolate range, the LG BL40, just last week. And of course it revealed a slew of specs and features, like the one-of-a-kind 4-inch 21:9 widescreen, the GPS and the 5MP camera. But it kept a few other juicy details quiet… until now.

An FCC filing in the US has turned up a brand new feature: nothing less than an FM transmitter. That means the LG BL40 can broadcast out its music contents – very handy for in-car use, as it means you can listen to all the tunes on your phone through your stereo system. It’s not exactly a new thing for LG though – the LG Arena comes with one.

The LG BL40 also has HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack – but we still don’t know about the phone’s internal memory or processing power. We’re sure we’ll hear more in the run-up to launch.
