PS3 Slim
The PS3 Slim is inching ever closer to a tiny spare space under your TV. After blurry box pics and price–cut natter, now Amazon Germany has given all the tittle tattle some much–needed credence by sticking a listing for a “PlayStation 3 Konsole slim” online. So what can you expect from this size zero slice of next–gen gaming goodness? Read on and find out.
Talk about a PS3 Slim has been kicking around for nearly two years. But after all the gossip, it seems we’re closing in on a release for the pared down hub. Amazon Germany’s listing for a “PlayStation 3 Konsole slim” offers up some interesting tidbits, showing it to be “platform independent” and touting its very own Amazon Standard Identification Number.
PS3 Slim hinted by manufacturing link
The pics though, tell a different story. There’s a fan render and that grainy shot of the purported packaging. Still, Amazon has not removed any reference to the PS3 Slim, suggesting something is very much in the pipeline.
Previous reports have given the PS3 Slim an August release date, meaning official word could be due any day now. Unleashing this at the same time as the PSPgo would certainly give the Big S the edge over Nintendo and Microsoft going into Christmas.
